Supplier Code of Conduct

Parajett AB and Parajett Digital Solutions AB (“Parajett”) strive to conduct business in a responsible, sustainable, and ethically sound manner. We seek to collaborate with suppliers and business partners who share our values and sense of responsibility.

Purpose

The purpose of this Code of Conduct is to describe the minimum requirements applicable to suppliers, subcontractors, and other business partners providing products or services to Parajett. This Code of Conduct forms part of our supplier requirements and complements contracts, purchase orders, and other agreements. It is based on our requirements regarding quality, environmental responsibility, information security, human rights, and business ethics.

Scope

This Code of Conduct applies to all suppliers, consultants, contractors, and other business partners delivering products, services, or processes to Parajett. The supplier is responsible for ensuring that relevant parts of this Code of Conduct are communicated to and complied with by its employees, subcontractors, and other parties involved in the delivery.

Compliance with Laws and Regulations

The supplier shall comply with applicable laws, regulations, and governmental requirements in the countries where it operates. The supplier shall hold all necessary permits, licenses, and registrations and conduct its business in a lawful and responsible manner.

Upon request, the supplier shall be able to demonstrate compliance with applicable legal and contractual requirements. The supplier shall also inform Parajett of circumstances that may affect its ability to meet agreed requirements.

Human Rights and Labor Conditions

Parajett respects internationally recognized human rights and labor principles and expects its suppliers to do the same.

The supplier shall respect the equal value and rights of all individuals and conduct its operations in accordance with applicable labor legislation and internationally recognized principles. Child labor, forced labor, slave labor, and human trafficking are not accepted.

The supplier shall respect freedom of association and the right to collective bargaining where consistent with national legislation. Discrimination, harassment, bullying, or any other form of unacceptable treatment shall not occur.

Working conditions, working hours, and compensation shall be fair and comply with applicable laws, collective bargaining agreements, or equivalent requirements.

Occupational Health and Safety

The supplier shall maintain a systematic approach to occupational health and safety and take reasonable measures to prevent accidents, work-related injuries, and ill health.

Individuals performing work for Parajett shall have the necessary competence, training, and equipment to carry out their work safely. Work performed for Parajett shall be free from the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Business Ethics and Anti-Corruption

Parajett has zero tolerance for corruption, bribery, and unethical behavior.

The supplier shall conduct its business with high integrity and make business decisions based on objective and commercial considerations. Bribes, improper benefits, or any other forms of corruption shall neither be offered, accepted, nor requested.

The supplier shall avoid actual or potential conflicts of interest and comply with applicable competition laws and business ethics requirements. The supplier shall not participate in money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud, or circumvention of sanctions and export restrictions.

Gifts and hospitality may only be offered or accepted when they are moderate, reasonable, and serve a legitimate business purpose.

Information Security and Data Protection

When handling information belonging to Parajett or our customers, the supplier shall protect the information against unauthorized access, loss, alteration, or disclosure.

The supplier shall maintain appropriate technical and organizational security measures and comply with applicable data protection legislation, including GDPR where relevant. Access to information shall be restricted based on need and authorization.

Information security incidents or suspected breaches that may affect Parajett or our customers shall be reported without undue delay. The supplier shall ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information.

Environment and Climate

Parajett actively works to reduce its environmental and climate impact and expects suppliers to contribute to these efforts.

The supplier shall comply with applicable environmental legislation and work to reduce its environmental impact through the efficient use of energy, raw materials, and other resources. Such efforts shall include preventing pollution, reducing waste, and striving to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

Environmental considerations should be integrated into purchasing, production, and transportation activities. Suppliers providing transportation services or responsible for transportation are particularly encouraged to coordinate shipments, use fossil-free or energy-efficient transportation solutions where practically feasible, and work to reduce transportation-related emissions.

Quality and Delivery Capability

The supplier shall ensure that products and services meet agreed requirements regarding quality, functionality, safety, and delivery.

To achieve this, the supplier shall maintain appropriate processes for quality assurance and continuous improvement. Changes that may affect the delivery shall be communicated to Parajett. Nonconformities and complaints shall be managed in a structured manner, and the supplier shall participate in follow-ups and evaluations when requested.

Reporting Misconduct

The supplier shall promote a culture in which employees can report suspected violations of laws, regulations, or this Code of Conduct without fear of retaliation.

Suspected serious violations affecting the business relationship with Parajett shall be reported without undue delay to Parajett’s contact person or through the company’s whistleblowing function.

Monitoring and Audits

Parajett reserves the right to monitor compliance with this Code of Conduct through dialogue, self-assessments, supplier evaluations, document reviews, audits, or other reasonable follow-up activities.

Upon request, the supplier shall be able to provide relevant information demonstrating compliance with this Code of Conduct.

Nonconformities and Corrective Actions

If deficiencies are identified, the supplier is expected to implement corrective actions within the agreed timeframe.

Serious or repeated violations of this Code of Conduct may result in the business relationship being reviewed or terminated.

Responsibility

The supplier is responsible for ensuring that this Code of Conduct is known and complied with within its own organization and by relevant subcontractors.

Parajett’s procurement function is responsible for ensuring that the Code of Conduct is communicated and taken into consideration within the company’s supplier management process.

Acceptance

By entering into or maintaining a business relationship with Parajett AB or Parajett Digital Solutions AB, the supplier confirms that it has reviewed this Code of Conduct and conducts its business in accordance with its principles.
